IFAT Africa, the trade fair for water, sewage, refuse and recycling, being held for the second time, has gained more international attention: about 65% of the exhibitors are from abroad.

Alongside African exhibitors, several European companies will also be represented. The team is especially pleased to have gained seven new countries this year. Among the new exhibitors are companies from Austria, Botswana, France, Ghana, Kenya, Spain and Turkey.

All in all, more than 140 exhibitors will take part on an exhibition area of about 5 000m2.

Meeting point for the industry

Numerous delegations highlight the importance of IFAT Africa beyond the borders of South Africa. Visitor delegations from China, Ghana, Italy, Mozambique and Zambia are expected, as well as a delegation from sub-Saharan Africa, which the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is organising for its alumni network.
